  • This department offering undergraduate courses related to Genetics and Plant Breeding for B.Sc.(Hon.) Agriculture.
  • To impart theoretical and practical knowledge of Genetics & Plant Breeding to the students through course work, practical experiments and seminars.+
  • Department offering JRF (Plant Sciences) coaching classes to the registered students

fruits and vegetables) (1+1)
5. GPBR 313 – Intellectual Property Rights (1+0)
6. GPBR 314 – Principles of Seed Technology (2+1)
7. ELCT 315 – Commercial Plant Breeding (1+2)
8. PGS-503 – Intellectual property and its management in Agriculture (1+0)

FACILITIES
 Well established Genetics and Plant breeding laboratory with microscopes and plant breeder kits
 Well established Seed Technology laboratory with working models of seed processing & testing equipment
